Just upload modified files when upgrade

Hi, sorry I didn't find something to answer my question in this forum nor in the user guide :
Where can I find just the modified files in between 2 versions of zenphoto so that I can upload just the modified files and not the entire script.
Thanks.

It is not recommended to do that. Always upload the entire script if you want to update.
  • Yes but if there's no change in 99% of the files, I would be smarter to just upload 1% of the files. Why it's not recommanded to do that ?

    thanks for your help.

There is always change in a lot of files (surely more than 1%!) that depend on each other. Of course you can try to figure that out via the svn if you have the time for that, but if you encounter problems you are on your own.

Why is it a problem to just upload all the files? It is much more convenient and secure that it will work.
  • OK thanks. I wanted to do that because one of my zenphoto site is hosted on a free hoster with a FTP upload bandwitch speed with severe limitations.
  • There are many good file comparison programs out "there" get one of them and do a file compare between what you have been running and the what you care considering uploading.
