  • Most likely you have inserted metadata into the images with Lightroom. If that is done out of line with the EXIF standards then Zenphoto will be fooled about what data goes where.

This is unfortunately often the case with title/descriptions since the standards use words that confuse people. You can disable the processing of these fields in Zenphoto and manually insert the title/descriptions or you can place the data in the correct EXIF fields in your images.
  • Dear sbillard.

today afternoon I uploaded the same files and it worked.

this happen all of sudden with site changing file description to file title and vanish all other things.

I've been using this method since last 3 years with zenphoto without any problem nothing new happened with lightroom.
  • looks like I found the problem ..
it's not taking .htaccess which was running previously.

I am on lightspeed server and the htaccess was working perfectly all of sudden with new version it stopped.

    can u plz help >

Sadly at least I have neither knowledge of lightspeed server nor access to one. We primarily test on Apache and since we use it ourself nginx. One of our team member did also some tests on IIS servers.

Based on what you describe generally on your topics it sounds that something on your server is not runnig as intended.
  • We have no expertise on Lightspeed. (In fact, we are not experts on any server, but of course since we test on Apache we do have some working knowledge of it.) Lightspeed .htaccess is not compatible with Apache, so you will need to be sure that the rules you have work for Zenphoto. With the 1.4.5 release that is significantly simplified. All the rules need to do is redirect any URL that does not point to an actual file to the Zenphoto root index.php script.

Perhaps some user has working knowledge of Lightspeed and can help you. But please note that when you self-host you do need to learn how to use the software you select.
