Various problems (possibly permissions-related)

Hey guys,

I install ZenPhoto, and all seems well (except a lack of setlocale support in PHP). Then, when I upload some photos, no thumbnails seem to be generated. Also, clicking on an album throws up a 404 (zenphoto/albumname not found, etc.). I have it all set to relaxed permissions, all of the files (including the photos themselves) are owned by Apache. I've even set all the permissions to 777, and it never makes a difference. I've checked for rogue .htaccess files. I've granted all privieges on my MySQL account.

I've installed ZP before (even on this server) and I've never experienced such problems up to this. What gives? Any thoughts from anyone?

    Some things to check:

    1. Review your CGI logs
    2. Check the setting of mod_rewrite
    3. review the troubleshooting guide
