I was using Zenphoto and everything was ok. After Upgrading I have a huge problem: I cant Upload photos.
The problem begin with the install of version Zenphoto 1.2.4. At the setup routine check up I get varios warning messages that I was not able to resolve and didnt find in the user guide:
"Strict Permissions [is not in effect]
Warning!
When this option is not in effect, file and folder permissions are relaxed. This could constitute a security risk so it is recommended that you enable Strict Permissions. However, on some servers Zenphoto does not function correctly with strict file/folder permissions. If you enable this option and Zenphoto has permission errors, run setup again and disable the option.
Click here to use strict file/folder permissions.
NOTE: This option applies only to new files and folders created by Zenphoto. You may have to change permissions on existing ones to resolve problems."
The other warning message was regarding missing files (that I didnt find in the install package):
"Zenphoto core files [Some files are missing or their filemtimes seem out of variance.]

Either way I create the data bases and started using the app. But when I try to upload files in the conventional way trough mozilla, exporer (not via FTP), I get a problem message:

You are just not allowed to upload so you need to set the permissions for zp-core via ftp manually. Try 777 first and also read our troubleshooting entry on the user guide.
