Removed Image Info PlugIn - Link Still Remains

Help please:
1) I removed the "Image Info" plug in. Yet, the link "Image info" still shows up on my image pages. Can this be removed?
2) I don't want comments on my page, but I also don't want the message "comments closed" to show up on my image pages. Can this be removed?

Thx!!!

  • 1. I don't know what this plugin is. If it is the EXIF/IPTC info, you need to remove the function call that produces it. Remove `printImageMetadata()`. It is not a plugin.

    2. Unset the theme allow comments option.
  • Thx for the reply. The actual plug in is called "image_album_statistics v1.0.5.2"
I removed this plug in, but the link "image info" still appears on my image page. It's just a dead link and looks like an error. Check it out, it's the blue link right below my image: http://www.sogophotography.com/gallery/index.php?album=textures-culture&image=MontereyLR-4150860.jpg#TB_inline?height=345&width=300&inlineId=imagemetadata.

Also, is Zen Photo compatible with Firefox. When I load a new photo is just pulls a blank page. I have to reload it in order to see the image. Only in Firefox.
  • Yeah. I'm having major issues with ZenPhoto right now. Kinda stressing, I spent a lot of time creating the albums.

The photos are not even loading in IE. It just shows a bunch of boxes with little red X marks. That in addition to the two above-mentioned issues.

    Help?

    1. The image_album_statistics plugin has nothing to do with the "image info" link and is not used by any standard theme anyway. As sbillard said you need to remove the function call from your theme files.

    2. You also can remove the comments code from the theme files.

    3. Zenphoto's standard themes are generally compatible with all major browsers (if you use a custom theme that is of coursre at your own ability). The red x indicates a image processing error which is most likely cause bigger images than your server is able to process. Please read this:
