I'm pleased to announce the release of Zenphoto 1.0.3! I've accidentally released it almost exactly midnight... maybe I'll make that a tradition. Anyway.
New features in this release include:
- Image sizing/cropping any way you want (for theme developers and/or users and/or plugin authors)
- Stopdesign theme included using the above.
- Access to any image's size from the theme.
- Any valid filename should now work in ZP (yes, even "b&$%#+@!`'~_2.jpg") (Actually, don't try that name... I just
discovered a bug... well, okay, you can try it, but it's kinda funny)
- Fixed several more security issues brought to our attention by Raphael HUCK (Thanks!)
- Full UTF-8 (and any other character set) support for non-ASCII characters, thanks to Niels Leehneer.
- Many, many bugs fixed, and lots of code cleanup. Thanks to all who helped!
More Release Notes from JIRA...IMPORTANT NOTE: For those of you upgrading, it's VERY IMPORTANT that you re-do your zp-config.php file from the zp-config.php.example file. That's because it's not config.php anymore! The filename was changed to avoid conflicts of any kind with include paths. Don't forget!

There are precompiled libraries like
http://www.sanisoft.com/phpexifrw/
and
http://pel.sourceforge.net/
that I have gotten to work with Zenphoto but I am unhappy with the output options it gives you.. I myself am trying to get this to work and spit out functional results. Weather or not I or someone else comes up with a functional hack or not.. The roadmap shows version 1.1 as the Exif release as well as the subalbums release.

I cannot edit an album with 2 instances of 1.03 - a new installation and an upgrade from v1.01.
Thanks
Greg
I am looking for the 1.0.3 package but I can't find anything but the 1.0.3 beta release. the webpage also states 1.0.3. beta etc.
I checked the website with two different machines at work where I am pretty sure that I haven't surfed to zenphoto.org but I see no changes. Can somebody post a direct link to the tar.gz file so I can wget it?
When I create a gallery, the folder is correctly created and the uploading is done too. But when I visualize the gallery, the link is not correct.
Example:
Gallery's name : "Le Jorkyball"
Folder created : "le-jorkyball"
located in : "http://localhost/mywebsite/zenphoto/albums/"
and the photos was uploaded in : "http://localhost/mywebsite/zenphoto/albums/le-jorkyball/"
1st bug : The thumbnails do not appear.
2nd bug : In the admin menu, when I clic on "Browse your gallery and edit on the go.", the gallery is loading (whithout thumbnails) but links are wrong. When I clic on the wrong link, I have this message : "The requested URL /mywebsite/zenphoto/le-jorkyball/ was not found on this server." >>> where is the "albums" folder???
