CAn formatted Word text be copy pasted to a page?

I am loosing the formatting when I copy paste.

    Yes and no, Word uses its own formatting that is not the same as HTML. TinyMCe provides the button "paste from Word" to help with that. Generally it is recommened to copy the text to a plain text editor without formatting and then format it with TinyMCE that works similar to a word processor.
