Blank Page after Install

I am completely new to this, but I love what looks like it is possible to do with Zenphoto and I would really like to get it working for me!

I have installed, uploaded and made sure I have all the necessary requirements installed. However when I go to the setup: http://(my site name)/zenphoto/zp-core/setup.php all I get is a blank page.... just white..... nothing there! HELP?!

I am a graphic designer and was not properly instructed on coding or anything and I am really at a loss! any help is appreciated!

    It is pretty difficult to guess what might be wrong. Blank pages are usually an indication of some kind of error. But to know what error we will need to see the error reports. Ask your provider how to locate these CGI error logs, then see and report what they are telling you.

    I found an error log that says when trying to reach it that HTTP Code 500 was encountered. Does that help?

    Anything else I can try in the meantime?

    500 is a server error, so probably the file permissions are set so that the folders where you installed zenphoto are not accessable by browsers. It could also be that PHP scripts are not configured on your server. You probably need to consult with your ISP support staff on this.
