suphp failure

I've been having permission problems and for zp to work properly, my server requires me to use suphp (www.suphp.org)

According to their instructions, (http://itc.virginia.edu/server/web/php/suphp.html) I need to add "AddHandler su-php-script .php" to the .htaccess. When I do this zp returns a blank screen.

Any thoughts?

Also, I did the same thing with wordpress and it works fine

You will probably have to look at the CGI logs to see what has happened. We have done no testing with this PHP modifier. Zenphoto works perfectly well on normal servers with normal (proper) security.

You will need to get help from your provider in making this work. Note: wordpress is an entirely different application form Zenphoto. In particular, wordpress is not filesystem oriented so file security will not likely be an issue to it.
