Here's a question I don't seem to find an answer for:
I have a private album with a login/password. I view it then move on to some other album or site. There is no "logout" from the private album, and the permission to view the album seems to persist even after I go to another page.
Now say the wife or girlfriend come over and use the PC, they can happily view the private album contents - and then give you shit or withhold your daily reward or whatever... :-) We don't want this, do we?
I don't thinks it is reasonable to expect the viewers to always go in private browsing mode, nor to delete the cookies after they view a private album.
Is there a way to have the password protected/private album require re-login after the user navigated away from it, or maybe expire the cookie after a few minutes perhaps settable in the admin panel?

First option depends on your theme. There is a plugin that will support placing a logout link on any page you desire.
Second option is to use the gallery sessions option. That will prevent any cookies from being stored on the PC. Of course, the downside of this is that you will have to log in each time you visit the site.
Third option is to change the value of the COOKIE_PESISTENCE define.
