Irc channel ?

Hey,

I love the software, and I would like to be able to discuss with fellow users/developers.

Is there an IRC channel ?

If not, can one be created on freenode or something ?

    No, there is no IRC channel set up at the moment. In order to set one up, it would be most effective if there were someone who is daily committed to moderating and answering questions in the IRC.

    At this time I don't think Tristan has the resources to do so (hey, I could be totally wrong, but let's just wait and see what he says).

    Nope, I can't really, but we could set up chat sessions every so often where everyone can talk for a few hours at least. I just can't do that every day!

    I didn't want this to be a 'support' channel, I'd rather trisweb be developing on zenphoto than being on IRC :P

    I thought of it more as a community thing ...

    Do you mind if i create #zenphoto on freenode ?

    Nope, go right ahead! Make an announcement here if you like.

    And I know, I wouldn't give support, that's what this forum is for...

    I think I'd talk about fun stuff... development ideas, photography, documentation, whatever.
