Smarty and Zenphoto

I made a CMS with smarty, php and mysql. Now i want to use Zenphoto for the gallery handeling (great script guys ).

The problem i have is that the navigation is put in a table in a mysql database, with smarty and php i fetch the results and show them (so my clients can change any link names and whatever they want to do with it)

So is there any way to implent this also in zenphoto? I basicly want to include my navigation in the template files of zenphoto (using or not using smarty).

How can i do this? Maybe make a diffrent script fetchs the database results and then outputs the navigation and so include this in the index files????

You basically want a custom menu as part of your theme's index.php page? Then you have the right approach.
