Login user name and password

I cannot for the life of me remember my user name and password and i am unable to communicate with anyone at zenphoto who can help. In fact i had to create a new user name and password just to ask questions.

Is there a way that i can get both the user name and password just with my email or do i have to uninstall the picture pages on my site and start over again. I must do this do to spamming in my zenphoto page. I get close to 200 spams daily.

    1. You are communicating with "people at zenphoto" when you post on this forum. In case you have not realized it. There is no such thing as a "Zenphoto" company. Zenphoto is an open source project worked on by volunteers. We are dedicated to the product, but we in no way are going to provide 24x7 support.

    2. Zenphoto has no idea what your password is. This is not stored at all. Instead, a hash is performed when you set a user/password and that hash is stored. When you log in, a similar process hashes the user/password your supply and that is compared to what was stored. If they match you are authorized.

    3. The user code you created "just to ask questions" has absolutly nothing to do with the user code and password for your Zenphoto installation.

    4. It really is not helpful for you to post this question on multiple threads (http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=6021. You have been answered on a previous threads (http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=5909,http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=6021). You were directed to the troubleshooting guide. Apparently you have either not read that or not decided to follow all its suggestions. Read again http://www.zenphoto.org/2009/03/troubleshooting-zenphoto/#16

    5. I have no idea what the relationship of your having 200 spams daily has with your inability to log into your Zenphoto installation.
