So probably you did not delete the old files/folders before installing Zenphoto as reacommended. `zen` has not been used in ages. My guess is that you have accidentally run the `zen` version and got old stuff into your database.
Thanks for your reply, I never had an older version. This was my 1st install of Zenphoto. I may have created the zen folder for some other use & it became populated? I have renamed /zen to /old-zen & it seems to be working ok. Should I try deletion?
When I go into Admin and select "Refresh the Database" What should I see? Should I get a confirmation? As yet I see nothing except the page refreshes.
There is no way that there is a folder named `zen` in the current distribution. Zenphoto does not use this folder so deleting it will have no impact on it. Yo should check your version and be sure it is 1.2.6. I'm a bit confused by your statement that you have been running Zenphoto for a year and just installed updates but that you have never had an older version.
The page should refresh and there shold be a confirmation that fades away after a short period of time.
This is weird. I just archived the contents of /old-zen into old-zen.zip. and old-zen.zip is in BOTH /old-zen & /zp-core??? Linked-tables indeed. I am on-hold to my hosting server now. Any ideas?
Well, I think you need to discuss this with your provider. Certainly not something Zenphoto has anything to do with. Probably cross linked folders as well as tables.

To your earlier post.
I did not update Zenphoto. I am running 1.2.1. My folder dates are 10-01-08.
I created the zen subfolder (for some forgotten reason)
I only updated wordpress & the zenphotopress plugin using the wordpress update function.
Sorry about the confusion.
