How about putting a list of ZenPhoto requirements right on the front page? Maybe right above the download so that people can read it and make sure they meet the requirements before downloading.

Their only other option now is to go through the wiki and read the installation instructions, but if most people are like me, they're just gonna download and try and figure it out themselves.
