It's a simple youtube video inclusion that should work with all general browsers. Bur sorry, totally forgot that we don't have a installation screencast anymore. The former developer that helped with those has gone inactive.

I only need to be able to login and upload photos to a gallery page. will this meet my needs?

There should not be an installation video anymore.

Yes, what you want is the basic stuff you can do with Zenphoto. Just try.
