Clicking on Main Gallery link requires password again

Hi;
I would like to setup up a private gallery for family and have the gallery password protected. When I am viewing an album and then click on the Gallery index to return to the main page, the website brings up the login screen again rather than the album index.

Basically the user needs to enter the password again although they have been authenticated already.

Is there a way to change this?

Please provide basic info about your install. The login uses cookies so make sure the visitor browsers have this enabled and allowed (or enable sessions on the options).

That's weird it stopped happening and all is working fine now.
