custom data filter help

Hello,

I'd appreciate some guideance with the custom data filter. I've installed the filter-custom-data plugin and enabled it, but I don't notice any difference. Not sure what I'm meant to see and what I should be doing to see it.

I read the documentation but still can't figure it out.

would really appreciate some help.
