How would i go about getting the latest images from categories to show on my websites main page.

Example my website is located at something.com and gallery is something.com/gallery i would like to have the latest photos from specific categories show on the website anyone know how or point me in the right direction, any help is greatly appreciated...

Probably the most commonly used is the first one as it allows access to most of the zenphoto functions.

Small addition to the "plugin way": The latest images function is located in the image_album_statistics plugin. So this needs to be include additionally to to the main `template-function.php` file.
