Plugin for latest pictures and comments

Have you guys come across a plugin (or two) to do the following:

1. In wordpress: capability to display latest photos and latest comments (given the number of photos or comments to be displayed)

2. Within the gallery, display latest comments within the album page.

1. Zenshow will allow you to see the latest photo/album in wordpress but not comments

most of the wordpress plugins were writen to just display the images and not the comments.

2. None that I am aware of. I am currently writing a theme where I would like this functionality. I will keep you posted when get to it and figure it out.

Btw, by latest comments, I mean, the listing of the commentors in some sort of order. Maybe similar to the WP plugin Brian's Latest Comments, but instead of ordered by article, it should handle ordered by album _and_ photo.

Is this also available as a stand-alone plugin? I refuse to use WordPress because I just don't like it, but my whole site's powered by ZenPhoto....

also you can modify it a bit to show latest comments
