Userlog plugin is great! One question...

Can I change the redirect to avoid the "200 Ok" page?

This is what my clients see when they click the logout link:

----
OK
The document has moved here.

Apache/1.3.33 Server at www.cowleycrawford.com Port 80
----

Also, two things can happen when clicking on the "here" link from the 200 ok redirect page:
1) If they are coming from a password protected album then when they click the "here" link, they are redirected again to the login page. this is ok. but...

2) If they are coming from a non-password protected album/image then when they click the "here" link from the 200 Ok page they are redirected to a page that says: "object not found".

Is there a simple fix for the 200 ok redirect to be more like my site, or automatically redirect instead of having to click "here"? And, when someone logs out from a non-password protected album/image, it would be cleaner if they didn't get an "object not found" page.

thanks!!

  • These status codes are output by the root index.php script. However, you should really figure out why lyour clients are seeing the behavior that you describe. The status 200 is proper http://www.december.com/html/spec/httpstat.html and does not imply that the document has moved. Status 3xx are page has moved status.
  • I am having the same issue. I got the login thing working fine but when I logout I go to a 200 page then they need to click here to get to the gallery again. I am on a Mac and have checked this in Firefox and Safari...so it seems to be a bug I would say.

@lisaraymond: You posted already on your other thread, no real need to do here again..;-)
  • Well since this post title is more to the point and my thread subject does not reflect the problem I am currently having I thought it made sense to put this up here. Especially since it has not been answered yet. Is there a fix for this?

No big deal but we were discussion about that on the other thread.

No, currently no fix as we did not encounter that ourselves. We will take a look at it as soon as possible.
  • Thanks, unfortunately I cannot use the gallery until the fix is in...
  • Then I would suggest you speak to your service provider. At the very least they could tell you what needs to be fixed. So far as we know, Zenphoto is sending the proper headers. The problem seems unique to a very few servers, so I doubt it will be corrected until someone with knowledge of what these servers are doing (and what they want) identifies a solution. For all I know, it might even be the server that has "bug?.
