Meta keywords on zenpage pages

Hi
Can anyone please tell me how to add meta keywords on my zenpage pages?
On my albums and images, I can add tags which appear in the meta keywords tag.
But I can't figure out how to do it on pages. I have the html_meta_tags plugin installed, but my keywords tag is appearing empty <meta name="keywords" content="" />
because I don't know how to populate it.

    Sorry, that plugin is not meant for manually adding data as it generates the info automatically from info by Zenphoto: For the keywords either tags (images, albums) or news categories (news articles) are used. Pages have neither tags nor categories. So it is empty. Tags for pages and articles are planned for the future.

    I am sorry, you will have to manually add those info to your theme pages.php using the custom data field (or any other field you don't use elsewhere like "location").

    Is there any update on this topic?

    I am trying to figure out how to optimize my meta tags for zenpage pages. I use them a lot for blogging and currently "meta name="description"" takes a few words from the begginning of each blog post. This is not too efficient and ideally I would like to control this for each separate blog post.

    Is there a convenient way to do this?

    Hi Evegeny. Nothing has been done as it all can be done on the theme if more control is needed. The plugin is meant to be conveniently do all automatic for what is there already. The meta description is recommended to be around 155 characters as most search engines don't display more anyway. For SEO reasons it does not play that huge role anymore anyway (more than the keywords one that is pretty useless for search engines by now).

    If you need it longer for whatever reason you have bascially these options:
    - make a custom plugin to allow longer descriptions
    - DIsable the description on the plugin and add it manually to your theme pages to display the full contetn
    - If you need full control for the meta description, modify your theme to use for example the extracontent or custom data field to store your custom meta description
