Hi, I try to put zen photo as plug in, in my page all work but the link from album go to the zenpho folder, is it possible to open the album in the same page? thank
Can i see the image of album if i put in the name of the album in parameter like : page.php?album="name of the album" page.php is the link page where i d' like see the image of the album "name of the album" but this page is not in the theme folder.
Maybe first explain why do you need that at all? What is the problem by calling Zenphoto directly and make the theme look like the site? No visitor will care that you are on a Zenphoto page if it looks like the rest of the site.
The website where i work has four part : french winter/summer and english/winter-summer i want to used the same gallery it s the reason i want to used zen photo as a plugin and put the gallery in the four different part because the four part are different design,
The solution with iframe must be nearly good but not for the administration panel and for the lightbox and for google...
i try to explain but with my bad english (i 'll have learn in school when i was young !!)
I am still not convinced actually that this is necessary. Zenphoto has the feature of "album themes" that lets you use different themes for different toplevel albums. So you could make two themes and assign them to the albums. Making these theme is some work of course but probably less and easier than that extra coding.
In addition, there is no reason that your zenphoto theme could not determine if it was running in English or French and change its CSS appropriately. Same for winter vs summer. (Not sure what you really mean by that, but whatever it is, if you can figure it out on your main site, you can do the same with the zenphoto gallery.)
I'think about this solution... but in my 4 part i 'used the same album then i can't assigned a theme to different part...even i duplicate the album in the administration panel...then if i 've lot of images !!
the same site : winter (english and fr) summer (english and fr)
The 4 part has 4 webdesign differente (not only css but image etc...) I start to duplicate mytheme folder and rename to theme-summer etc.. and duplicate the index page from zenfolder to index-uk etc.. and change manually the $theme variable and create fonction setupThemeUK() in template fonction etc... but this solution is long and not too good. and i must change the .htaccess to edit rewrite url...
yes thank it's why i write in this forum... lol I think too that it 's difficult to explain with my bad english what i want to explain, i find zenphoto excellent i already used another website but for this website it 's different... It s pity that we can't used zen photo like i explain in my first post.
Well, you could. Other's have. But you do have to do some work.
I think it is not your English that is the problem, I think you have not carefully considered what your real requirements are. So probably you are trying to solve a problem that does not really exist.
I have to agree with sbillard. As far as I understood what you want that is all possible on the theme side without duplicating any album. Zenphoto is quite flexible themewise but not everything is possible "out of the box". Some special things require some custom coding. But that is probably always the case with all CMS out there.
You can set the theme to use manually. Since you can do all styling via CSS you could just change the CSS file to load depending on the album displayed. The default theme and the efferscence+ theme do basically the same for their different theme personalities. Of course this requires custom coding on the theme itself.
If I understood I use zenphoto as a plug in to display all my albums to the point where I want the site (on my part to design 4 different) and then I assign a theme (I have previously created 4 different themes) for each album that redirects to the good part of the site.

I'm not agree with this sorry...
but it is not a problem maybe zen photo isn't the good script for this project,. (only this project)
Then you say that i can used different theme but
How to play a different theme on a page the same site?
