As of right now, there are two developers with commit privileges. One of which hasn't made a commit since 4/13/06 and the other is getting his life started (admirable and commendable). So it looks like there isn't going to be any advancement in ZenPhoto for at least the next month and it has already languished for almost a month already.
I don't know about Mr. Niels Leenheer (seems to be a big patch sumbitter), but I work on one patch at a time and wait for it to be committed or rejected before I continue editing my local copy of the SVN tree. When those with commit privileges don't do anything, neither do I. Now, I'm not asking for commit privileges for myself. I realize that it is a touchy thing for someone who started a project as a pet project only to find it generate a lot of interest. I am merely suggesting that a discussion about this topic get started. If there are people willing to accept, and are responsible enough, commit privileges then I think it should be seriously debated.

Seriously though, I know what you mean. Let's see if I can get Todd to do some development, even if it's just accepting/rejecting patches and fixing minor bugs.
FYI I'll be gone for the next month, until August 5th. I'm on vacation and I promise I won't read anything until then.
