MySQL-Konfiguration in zp-config.php

When running the setup.php I get two warnings and the error message:
# MySQL-Konfiguration in zp-config.php

Tragen Sie die fehlende Information unten ein und setup wird versuchen, Ihre zp-config.php-Datei zu aktualisieren.
MySQL-Administrationsbenutzer *
MySQL-Administrationspasswort *
MySQL-Server
MySQL-Datenbank *
Datenbank-Vorsilbe
* erforderlich

I added the necessary information regarding the database and saved them. But when I run the setup again, I get the same message again. I checked the zp-config.php file and all the necessary information is there. I am at a loss why I cannot proceed with the setup. I don't know what I am supposed to correct in order to be able to proceed.

It is this information which is being provided to MySQL when Zenphoto attempts to connect to the database. Apparently your MySQL system is rejecting these parameters for some reason.

The current nightly build will report back the actual MySQL error message. Maybe that would be some help.

Thanks for the quick reply! Based on what you wrote I figured that maybe the information I supplied was not correct. So I added the name of the database to the user name and now I works.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully this thread will help someone else having a similar problem. No way that we here know what strangeness various service provderes subject their users to.
