some questions from a newbie

I have been thinking of creating a site for my photos, I'm not sure I want to sell them but is that possible with zenphoto? Also is there a way to protect the photo's from people right clicking and saving them? I have thousands of photo's and don't want to have to create watermarks on every one of them in order to protect them. Any and all advice and thoughts is appreciated.

There have been third party developer solutions for adding Paypal and Google checkout to Zenphoto. I believe these are listed on the WEB site. Support for them will of course come from their developers. We are not in a position to do that.

Zenphoto supports applying watermarks to the images it displays. However, these are not applied to the orignals. Depending on your installation these originals are locatable by anyone with a rudimentary knowledge of how Zenphoto works.

It is possible to place the originals outside of the WEB path, but that does present some restrictions and is not something that a novice should attempt. If you wish to experiment with this you need to change the zp-config.php "album folder" configuration. The necessary documentation is within that file.
