How can I create taken date-based galleries ?

Hello,

ZenPhoto is great, period. I'm going to use it for my theatre class.

This is why I'm asking you a simple question: Is it possible to sort photos by the date it was taken (EXIF), and create one collection per day, in which the pictures are sorted by the hour, or any other row?

For example, we have theatre every Wednesday. Our photos should then have one category per Wednesday (with a photo). I would have the '21/12/2009' album, the '28/12/2009' album, and the '10/02/2009' album — if I have not taken any picture during January.

    Zenphoto generally uses the concept of albums that are based on real folders on the file system. Within an album you can choose also date sorting among others on the album edit page. If you really want albums matching date you will have either to setup them manually or use dynamic albums. Please see the user guide for info on that.

    Standard themes also feature an archive page that lists by date.
