Dynamic album of all pictures from the gallery

Hi there,

I am developing a street gallery based on the default zenphoto theme, I know zenphoto is folder based, it is doing great, but is there an option to search/list for all the uploaded images and create dynamic album out of that? Basically what I am trying to achieve is to be able to print All Latest Uploaded Images in the order they have been uploaded. Currently if user uploads pictures 1 2 3, but place them in different albums, the default function printLatestImages will link the image to the album it belongs to, and as soon user goes to picture 1 and clicks Next he will be redirected to the next photo within that particular album, but I want give users the ability to browse easily over the latest uploaded images in the right order. Can I list all images within zenphoto? What will be the best way to go forward? Anyone any experience? Thanks a lot!...

That's actually quite simple: Change your search settings to file name and images only temporarily, search for the suffixes (.jpg,.png etc) and create a dynamic album from that search. On the album settings you can set the sortorder afterwards (ID is upload or more specific file system discovery order).

I was obviously too quick to enjoy life Dynamic album was working fine, there were 108 pages each with 24 thumbs and I was able to browse them, but then all of a sudden I now only get
Warning: array_slice() [function.array-slice]: The first argument should be an array in /var/www/vhosts/fotografer.de/httpdocs/mag/zp-core/class-album.php on line 424

Without any changes in the meantime... Any idea what could be a reason?

Update: now... still without doing any changes, dynamic album works back again, it's playing games with me )))

I'd be interested in details of what release you are running. There is no `array_slice()` function call anywhere near line 424 in current software.

Hello, I am running Zenphoto version 1.4.2 [8956] maybe it's a little bit old, I have installed it a while ago, but didn't have time to do much with it...I will post the site to the showcase when i'm ready, for now i'll need to do some troubleshooting, because this array_slice failure occurs every hour and then recovers itself

Maybe it is quite old. Current version is 1.4.4.5. If you have problems you will really need to upgrade. We are unable to provide support for older versions.

Ok, thanks...I installed the newest release, and noticed two things...While running setup.php it complains about zenphoto not able to change permissions on log files to 600, although permission are already at 600. And then after install following erros

is it a common issue? setup check was clean before starting install

Never saw this issue before. Are there any other errors in the error log (also the server one)?

Regarding the permissions: Some servers do not allow Zenphoto to change them so it might complain about that fact even if they are correct.
