user registration & log in

I activated both plugins but I don't see in on the site when a user is not logged in.

I'm using m9 theme.

    I have no idea what m9 theme is, but it is almost certain that it does not support the plugins.

    Just as a note:
    It is always a good idea to verify a problem using the standard software and themes to be sure you don't have a problem with your custom theme.
