pagination out of step in search

Hi,

on certain searches, when there is albums & images found the search pagination
does not seem to work correctly.
Check this example below only 11 not 12 pictures are displayed on page/1

Any idea why this is ?

Well, search results pagination works the same way like normal album pagination. So the normalizeColumns also is in effect if mixing albums and images. Please try a standard theme if it works there for you.

thanks, yeah. Default themes seem to work.
I will do further analysis.
On a similar line I was wondering if it is possible to do deep linking into a paginated list of images dynamically.
I.e. Link to image by name directly without knowing on which page it is?

After 12 images it will start paging, but i would like to be able to deep link to any image with an anchor, not knowing which page they are on

Well, if it works in the standard themes something is not right on your custom one.

Regarding direct links you can get the link of any image or image page using the object model framework.
