How to enable debug log?

I deleted the debug log by mistake instead of reseting it. How do I re-enable it?

It will come back automatically when something is placed in it.

Nice, but I'm getting a 500 error on the admin-edit.php. I was hoping to find why on the debug log
It started happening after uploading a lot of files....

Sorry, but you won't 500 errors mean that the script did not load for some reason. So, it is outside of the Zenphoto pervue. Most of the time this is caused by problems with the .htaccess file or other file security issues.
