Well, it's been 5 years since Zenphoto's historic original announcement on May 27th 2005. Feel free to share any memories or nostalgic stories of how you've used Zenphoto over the years, or where you think Zenphoto is going in the future. Thanks to everyone for all your support and help over the last 5 years.

After looking around for a while and testing several photogallery scripts I have chosen ZenPhoto as the basis for developing a prototype gallery for a bushwalking club. The feature list is impressive, meets all of our needs and, importantly, the skin programming to fit with the rest of our site is "friendly" and well documented. Well done and congratulations on 5 years. A great effort.

    Happy birthday !

I looked back on my blog, and found I start using zenphoto v1.0.1b, around April 2006... so that was the early days ! Sub-albums management were awaited, and it came some time later... I am still very happy with it, it looks very complete, efficient, and easy to customize.
Big thanks as well to the help I got from the forum : always fast and efficient.

I've been using Zenphoto since at least September 2007, my initial theme development was back on version 1.0.8.2! I think back then sub albums was something brand spanking new, and Zenpage wasn't even on the agenda. I've now got 3 websites using it, each with custom themes.

Back in the beginning I was hacking my own code onto the gallery core, over the past year or so I have been cleaning it up into plugins. The main benefit is that I can update the core with each new release, and not break everything!
