Hi!

I am totally new to zenphoto and must say that I just love it. I'm trying to create a new theme for my photo gallery - at this point, it's far from perfect and I still have a lot of fixing to do. Can you please give me some feedback (and post any bugs you might find?)

Looks generally nice. A few things (Tested in Safari 4 only). Some usability thoughts. I like the fade out but it is really not obvious how to get the prev/next image links (I think they should be there always) and especially not that they only appear if you find the the thumbbar (I suggest to make something at the border so it is obvious that there is something to fade in (not every one is so used to websites that he actually searches).

Another sidenote advise: Since you are German, your site is of course missing the "impressum". This is required by law over here for all sites (And no not only for commercial sites, this is a myth! It is for all public viewable sites. See Telemediengesetz § 5 and search the net for "impressumspflicht")

Edit: Ah, I see the next/prev arrows appear if you are on the image itself. Anyway on smaller height screens you can't reach the slider for the thumbs
