I helping a non-profit company for free with differant projects and the new features of 1.3 would make it easier for them to use. I thought this would be simple but it's not working out that way.
I have tried to upgrade from 1.2 to 1.3 and I have tried doing a complete new install and ever time there is a different error. See thread "weird admin code error". I also have another post for Error: MySQL Query ( SELECT * FROM `zenp_administrators` WHERE `valid` = '1' ) failed. MySQL returned the error Unknown column 'valid' in 'where clause'. Here is what I have done:
1) Take the current install and delete all of the files except the database and the album folder.
2) FTP all of the new 1.3 files to the folder.
3) Enter the URL and go to setup.
4) Copy and paste the previous v1.2 database frorm the old zp-config into the form.
5) Click Save.
-Then a message displays showing that it is creating some new tables.
-Then it will give me an admin error if I have not previously deleted the old admin table otherwise is displays the index page (looks normal) then when I click Admin I get all kinds of crazy messages. I have recreated this multiple times. Anyone willing to help me with this?

Can you at least give me a clue? I see that you are a "Cheif Developer", please remember when replying that most of us looking for answers are not. But are eager to learn from the Cheif and appreciate helpful guidance.
