Disable Subalbums for specific users

Hello!

How can I disable the "Make new album" option in the upload tab for specific users?

    If a user can create top level albums he probably has "manage all albums" rights. If you don't want that you have to assign an album specifically. However, he will still be able to create new albums but only within that assigned album. It is not possible to disable that generally.

    So I'd need to hack the admin files to not output the option of making new albums within a managed, right?
    Manage all albums is off.

    Yes, but do that on your own risk. You could also open a ticket for such a rights feature.
