photos look dull on preview mode in zp-galleriffic theme

Hi, I use zp-galleriffic theme, and the photos look dull on preview mode, compared to the full size mode. In full size mode, the colors are faithful and intense.
The same loss of density/saturation appears when you go to "description" mode, which is useful to show a caption but not the image, which is displayed accurately in full size mode only (lightbox).

Is there a reason for that issue and a way to fix it?
