Sorting photos by author

Hi,
I need your help to do one thing. I own a photogallery where users can upload their own photos. Then I need to publish the photos in a wordpress blog, where there's a page for each author. So I need to sort photos per authors, there's a way to do this?
I really hope you can help me!

There is a plugin on the website which will place the user name of the uploader in the custom data field. You could use that. However it would likely be simpler just to give each photographer his own album then they are already so organized. Again a plugin for that.

I would prefer the first option, because I have to make the same series of sub-albums for each photographer...
