Album Tags and Keywords: zpgalleriffic

Greetings,

I am wondering how to hide album tags in ZenPhoto. If that is not possible, how do I remove album tags altogether?

ex. page: http://wdev.valsharess.com/zenphoto/visions-of-purity/

As you can see there is a "(No tags...)" line which is not aesthetically appealing at all. If I do add tags, it will eventually be in the 20-30 tag range since there will be dozens of images, so that would be ugly too.

As a secondary, related question, how do I add keyword metatag? It seems to be missing from ZenPhoto's HTML meta tag plugin.

Thanks for reading.

  • find the calls on the function `printTags()` in that theme. (I am not familiar with it.) Then look at the WEB site documentation for the parameters to `printTags()` and change them as you desire. In particular, the parameter `$messageIfEmpty` (the last parameter) needs to be `false` to supress the "(no tags...)" line.
  • Thank you, I'm trying that.

So far I have gone through all the .php's for the theme and haven't found printTags() or $messageIfEmpty though.

  • I have added "zpgalleriffic" to the topic of this thread. You should probably have put it there in the first place so that maybe the theme author would notice your question and respond.

As to what I can say. The only place in Zenphoto that the text "(no tags...)" appears is in the `printTags()` function. So if the theme does not have any referenct to that function It is doing things "different". 'Fraid that is about all I can do to help you. Maybe the author will respond now.

BTW, you will not find the string "$messageIfEmpty" in the theme itself. That is the name of the function parameter that needs to be changed. It will appear only in the function definition and documentation.
