Zenphoto encountered an error

    What were you doing when this happened? You might also try a database refresh.

    I think when I import wordpress data resulting data is in Chinese.
    I deleted all the news but I still can not.
    Refresh database
    Entered into the database empty zp_comments.
    All of these will not work so I'll post the.

    Want to import wordpress to choose character encoding device.

    So you use the wordpress import utility? I am not sure if I understand. The data is in Chinese, right?
    Are both databases set to the same encoding in tables and fields?
    Are the databases on the same server or different ones?
    Or is it the same database?
    Are there any errors when importing and if which?
    What Zenphoto release?

    Also zenphoto do not support Chinese file name .

    The version is printed on the footer of the backend and also in the source of your theme. Without that info we can't help. It should be at least 1.3.1.2.

    If you can use file or folder names with special characters like Chinese is a server thing. Even in German in Germany I can't use some special characters.

    The import issue is surely encoding related. Encoding stuff is complicated because there are serveral places that can use different ones. It might be that your server internally does not use UTF-8 thus the wrong characters. You should check if your server has the mbstring extensions.
