Picture Load in same page

Folks,
I am looking for a theme (or suggestion otherwise) whereby part of the screen would have the thumbnails, and the bulk of the screen would have the large or intermediate photo based on the thumbnail that was clicked. The idea being that upon selecting a thumbnail, the current "big" picture would load into the same page. Perhaps, if it is the intermediate page, then clicking this image could then load the page with the largest image, something like that. Is there a theme that provides this kind of functionality or a code change of an existing theme that would do this. Thanks in advance.

I am looking for a theme or a code suggestion whereby the gallery has a thumbnail area and a picture view area. when a user clicks a thumbnail, the intermediate picture should load within the same page instead of rendering a new page. If the intermediate picture is selected, then a new page rendering the full size photo can be generated. This way, a user can quickly click through a series of thumbnails easily viewing the intermediate pictures before deciding to render the full image. Any theme or code suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks.

You apparently can't read the quite obvious message about double posting, do you?

The unsupported 3rd party zpGallerific theme does bascially what you want. Note that the intermedia picture is called sized image in Zenphoto terms and that the full image is actually the extra image.

If the theme does not fit you probably should make your own theme. See the user guide for info.
