Images in diff server

Hi Guys

How can i set the config to stats the images are not hosted on same server, so example, Ive got www, media, and DB server, and Id like to host all albums on the media server.

Please advise on this

If you can make a path to the images on the other server somehow, and if the servers have good, direct, fast network connectivity (NOT over the internet) then it may be possible. Just set /albums as a symbolic link to that directory.

However, we do not recommend this whatsoever. Zenphoto is based off the filesystem and all network filesystem operations would make the gallery much much slower. If the servers aren't in the same room then it would slow to the point of not being usable.

Best way: Install zenphoto on the Media server, where the space is. You're welcome to use a separate database server still of course.

I have tried that one and it caused me a lot of problem - Sometimes loading of photos will take a lot longer and causes lagg to your site. If you will be using an image hosting site - this site spends a lot of traffic, thats why your photos tends to load very slow or may not show at all.
