ZenPhoto admin is slow

So I'm currently running on ZenPhoto version 1.2.1. My gallery can be seen here.

I have a large amount of galleries and images (2836/26744) due to uploading new screenshots of video games nearly every day. However, the admin-upload.php and page=edit&album=album-title-here pages load very slowly (no matter which album I'm in). I'm talking slow to the point where I can't have two ZenPhoto pages open at the same time because it'll hinder its loading.

What's the problem here? What can I do to get this running at normal speed?
