Hi - My first post, so please be patient with me!
My site has been running Zenphoto 1.21 flawlessly for several years. Today, I took a look at it, and got the following message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '(', expecting ']' in /home/unclened/public_html/zenphoto/zp-core/zp-config.php on line 38
No one has touched the code, so I'm a mite confused. I tried looking at the code and didn't see the error. I put it in an editor to be sure that I saw line 38, and still didn't see it.
I'm not sure what to try next and figured that upgrading when it wasn't working might not be the smartest thing - Help???

There is a security hack that people have experienced whereby someone manages to change the zp-config parameters. I have not heard of it causing syntax errors, just redirecting the database to somewhere wrong.
Anyway, the recommended "fix" would be the same. Remove the zp-config.php file and re-run the setup program. (Be sure to remove the setup program afterwards--that is the vehicle of the secuity hack.)
