  • ?bug
If a new page is added, the html » after HOME is represented instead of >>
  • maybe another bug...
similiar to want acrylian has recently posted.
the slideshow works ok within an album when clicking on actual image within an album, but if i click on a 'latest' image on homepage and then click on the resultant displayed image, the slideshow does not work . Also the 'play slideshow' does not work within an album page.
I found this in both my own site and to check i looked at
http://www.ozlangphotography.com. It doesn't work on that site either.

i have tested IE7 and chrome on winXP

Since the slideshow does work within the album as stated above it seems unlikely to be a browser problem. Thanks
  • @formulae - partly a bug...

I have updated the files. Seems I forgot to "switch" the colorbox target in a few places based on the theme option of colorbox targeting the original or sized image (see theme options).

what you are seeing may be due to your setting under options->image->full image protection. Try either toggling the setting under theme options "colorbox target" or this one.

Works for me on my test.

That is a small bug in 1.4.0.2 of wrongfully html encoding some things. The trunk nightly (see the news section about the two different nightlies!) has this fixed.
  • Cheers gjr and acrylian
    Both probs fixed
    zpGalleriffic is excellent!
  • This is only a minor issue, but to test zpGalleriffic on my laptop, I zoomed by webpages down from 100% (to 83% in chrome) and it messes up the slideshow window. The same happens in IE7. Is it fixable?
  • Not sure what you mean. Link?
  • Did some more testing...
When I change browser settings from 100% downwards
(in Chrome you can do this by clicking on the wrench icon at the top right: a submenu allows you to change the percentage using the 'Zoom' function)
(in IE7 bottom right there in a 'magnifying glass' with 100% beside it)
I changed the setting in chrome from 100% to 83% (the next setting down)
When using the slideshow, the colorbox style 1, 4 and 5 are messy and not represented cleanly, style2 & 3 however are OK

I was doing this on my laptop to reduce the size of the images to get more viewable on screen
Can't really give you a link as it depends on the users zoom level on their browser.
    Hope this all makes sense!
  • If this is important to you, then perhaps you should use the styles 2 or 3. these are directly from the colorbox site...

If this is about fitting the colorbox window within the viewport, there is a config option for maxwidth /maxheight. It is then automatically fitted.
  • Hi gjr, I have been using your themes for quite sometime now and was wondering if you would like to work together in creating a cart system using your album.php.

As you would probably know, many people would have to use "Image Details" to be able to purchase the photo.

Please get in contact with me and I will give you a run down on what I have scripted so far.

    Cheers

If you try to make a cart system it should be made as a plugin and theme independent. Otherwise it will not be of much use for anyone else.
  • Yea i was going to use the Galleriffic ajax slideshow script to base the lightbox cart system as sometimes when the Mod_rewrite is on, paypal would not be able to get the image name.

It is a lot more common on the Galleriffic theme but if I get to fix this then I will write it as an independent plugin.

Sure, the load of JS stuff makes things like these much more complicated than on "normal" themes.
  • Hi, I wish to know and how to do, if it's possible to show the file name of each image.
    I'm using zpGalleriffic_v1.4 theme.
    Thank you for help.

This is the reply from Acrylian:
Generally $_zp_current_image->filename gets the file name but I can't answer how to add this to this theme.
  • the theme shows the image title, which would be the filename if it hasn't been edited, so not sure what your issue is?
  • Hi,

First of all thanks for a great theme!

Just one minor thing, Agrandir, Diaporama, Prec., Suiv. and "Vous pouvez naviguer sur les photos à l'aide des flêches ← et → de votre clavier" are untranslated, the rest I've seen is in English.

    Any fix to that?

    Thanks

    hi

    in gallery.php, you should replace `<?php printAlbumMenu('jump',true); ?>` by `<?php printAlbumMenu('jump', true, '', '', '', '', gettext('Gallery Index')); ?>```
  • vincent3569 Member, Translator
    in footer,you shoukd replace `printRSSLink( "Gallery","",(gettext('Gallery Images')),"",false,"rsslink" )` by `printRSSLink( "Gallery","",(gettext('Gallery')),"",false,"rsslink")`
  • Thanks for fast reply.

I'm very sorry, I posted in the wrong thread. It is the zpArdoise theme I meant, not zpGalleriffic v1.4.

Do you have a fix for zpArdoise? Please answer in the zpArdoise thread.

Please also advise if the fix you've posted in this thread is valid or not for zpGalleriffic v1.4? If it's not, hopefully a forum admin can delete/move posts?

Sadly bbpress does not alow to move single posts. So you will have to ask again there.
  • Does the 'image_effects' plug-in work with zpgalleriffic?
I am using chrome and I get an error below the album thumbnails:
    "Error with bevel effect..."
    thanks
  • Did you remember to go to the http://www.netzgesta.de/cvi/ site and download/install the effect as documented by the plugin?
  • apologies, didn't do this. downloaded and unzipped the file.
Though when i did put the bevel.js file in the image_effects folder it still gives an error.
its not crucial to my project, but what am i doing wrong?
  • HORIZONTAL SCROLLBAR
I notice zpgalleriffic produces an annoying horizontal scrollbar when I go to the album view.
There is no hidden image/images to reveal when I scroll across.
It is not present on the main Gallery page nor the 'Image details' view with the browser having the same dimensions.

It seems it may have something to do with the thumbnail strip across the screen below the main image in the album view.
Removing the 'comments' plugin does not affect it.

As a test, if you look at http://www.ozlangphotography.com/
you will see it occurs on this website also so it must be a global issue.
The scrollbar seems to be independent of the number of thumbnails in the strip.

I have tested on safari and chrome on a mac, and chrome in IE8 on windows with same result
    thanks
I hope this is reasonable feedback!
  • @formulae: Will fix this soon, I see it appearing in chrome and ie (fine in firefox). It is also fine in all if you reduce the number and size of thumbs in the thumb strip (via theme options) so the strip is about as wide as the rest of the page (then the bar does not appear). Anyway, will see what I can do...

as far as that image-effect plugin, i am not familiar. Does it work in the included themes?
  • It looks like this theme took a lot of time and work but I must say I'm pretty disappointed that there is no way in the options to get this to look like the previous version. The fact you cannot and it is not documented, as far as I could see, is a huge issue.
I would have though if the theme looks different (except for colours) that it would have a completely different name.
I had been waiting to update zenphoto until the theme was updated to be compatible. Luckily I did a test first to save me all kinds of headaches restoring from backups but now I'm left unable to update zenphoto.

I'm willing to make a donation if you would either like to update the previous version or incorporate options to make the look the same for the new version, let me know.

    Thanks
  • @formulae: fixed, file updated in download. To fix yourself, style.css, line 26, add padding:0!important, like:

    `

    .wrapper#thumbstrip .centered{width:1200px;overflow:hidden;padding:0!important;}

    `
  • In addition of formulae's post, in IE (not FF) I have a horizontal scrollbar which is larger than the screen (around 300px) and when I arrive to the album page, it automatically scroll to the right.
    I don't know I'm clear ?
I've tried to reduce the number of thumbs and to apply the fix "padding:0!important" but it doesn't change anything.

    Any idea ?
  • Hi gjr, I updated the style.css, but it still persists, do I have to update all the zpgalleriffic files?
