Allow Public Posts?

I've been looking and can't seem to find this....

We'd like to let the public post their photos to our website, subject to moderating.

Is this possible to do with Zenphoto, or perhaps with a third party as well?

There is no "public" upload facility that I know of. Such is possible, but to date no one has really wanted to let "anyone" upload to their site for obvious security concerns. Most people require the individual to register with the site and be confirmed before allowing uploading. That is pretty straight forward to do.

It certainly would be possible to make an "upload" page. The tools/examples are there on the admin/upload tab. Of course, the checks for permission to do the upload would need to be removed.

The image can be marked as not published which would require someone with appropriate priviledges to moderate it. You could also send a designated Admin an email when an image has been uploaded so that such action could be taken.

Excellent -- thank you so much. That's perfect.

We would use it to encourage our readers to post pictures of their boats. I have no problem making them register.
