Combination for index page

Is there from Admin Panel a chance to combi together a customed page (made using the page editor into Admin Panel) with last one news to show as welcome page?

I'm using zenpage theme.

The zenpage theme has the option to show the news loop on the index pages. See the theme options.

Otherwise not without modifying the theme. See the theming tutorial to learn the basics first.
