moving zenphoto to a sub directory on server

Strange problem cropped up today. I had setup a gallery for a friend to try out, and after she liked it, I moved it from the base directory to a sub directory. I swear I've moved zenphoto installations like this before; it should just move, right? Well, the links when you hover over something show correctly; but when you click on them, it resolves to the old address and ends up with a 404!
I installed the original under: www.lenstribe.net/gallery
I then moved it to www.lenstribe.net/melanie
And now the main page shows up, but clicking on one of the top level gallery (which shows up correctly in the page source, and hovering) results in a 404 error, and the page listed is the old gallery link!

Any ideas?

    Ah, found it. It was in the .htaccess file, a rewrite rule.
