Display title in thumbs

Is there a way to display the title for each photo in this thumb view?

I found a quick work around in the album.php tmplate file. Is there a theme that displays the title as part of the theme or a plugin?

I don't know any theme that does this (at least no official one) but as you found out it is not really hard to add that to your theme. No plugin necessary.
