Why is my front page showing even though there is a gallery password?

My front page of the current version of zenphoto shows the list of galleries (including ones that are not published) to everyone. However, when one clicks on a particular gallery, it takes them to the login screen.

I never had this problem before the most recent upgrade. In my settings, there is a gallery password and there are a total of 5 users with admin access. No other users.

I see this issue even when I clear the cache on a browser and delete all cookies and stored logins (even happened on a computer at the Apple store which I have previously not used). How do I fix this?

    Have you got the static HTML cache plugin enabled? If so upgrade to the development nightly build. There are some issues with the static HTML cache caching pages that are viewed by logged on guests.
