zpMasonry issues

This is a superb theme gjr (zpMasonry)..
Thank so you much for your beautiful work

I have 2 issues i'd like to raise:

- When viewing a specific image page, the scrolling thumbnails at the bottom of each image page don't link to their own image page, they simply display a raw image in the browser (i.e. no themed ZP image page).. To me, it would make a lot more sense to load the ZP image page for the clicked image.

- In a Gallery, once Colorbox has launched, is it possible to be able to progress/navigate through the rest of the gallery while remaining in Colorbox mode? (rather than always closing) either by clicking to the left/right of the image and/or keyboard arrows?

i'm not sure if these are things you can update or if someone can just assist with how i can implement them myself..

even without these things fixed/changed, this shockingly good theme rocks hard..

thanks again!

    Thanks for the comment -

    1. Not sure which plugin you are using, but check the plugin options. zpMasonry supports paged thumb nav and jcaurosel if I remember correctly.
    2. See slideshow button: http://gjr-web.com/demo/zpmas/Destinations/Architecture/

    thanks for the response..

    1. Yep, that was it - changing the config of the jcarousel fixed that - nice.

    2. Currently when you launch a colorbox instance from a thumbnail the only option is "Close" - what i am wanting to do is have the slideshow-style next/prev navigation available when any *specific* thumbnail is clicked - so a user doesn't have to close the colorbox and re-launch it just to get to the next image.. does that make sense?

    cheers

Not familiar with this theme but that is a Colorbox configuration option for "galleries" that requires theme changes. You need to add to all links a `rel="something"` and call that via the Colorbox JS define (see the Colorbox website itself).

Unless you pregenerate links to all images invisibly beforehand this will only cover the images of the page you are currently one.
  • Hi,

I just came across this theme. Really cool. I installed the latest version of both Zenphoto and zpMasonry. I just have a couple of questions.

    1) Where is the Admin Toolbox? Or the login/logout option for users? I can't find that in the theme layout. Is it hidden or must I enable something?

    2) Will the images under password protected folder be displayed in the random images? I have 2 steps of security. One is normal entry into the gallery and the other one is for restricted albums. I don't want those who have logged in on first entry see any contents from restricted albums through the random image display.

Hope you can let me know. This is going to be my primary theme from now.

    1) Top right.... Of course, certain plugins may need to be enabled.

    2) Not sure, I will look into that, I cannot remember how I implemented it. If NOT, then it will be fixed in next release.
  • There is a problem in this theme. If there are users set with album restrictions, then when those users login, they see an error message.

    Zenphoto encountered an error
MySQL Query ( SELECT images.albumid, images.filename AS filename, images.mtime as mtime, images.title AS title, albums.folder AS folder, images.show, albums.show, albums.password FROM `images` AS images, `albums` AS albums WHERE (images.albumid = albums.id) AND (albums.`id`=) ORDER BY images.date DESC ) failed. MySQL returned the error You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') ORDER BY images.date DESC' at line 1

Not sure when this SQL is being executed but seems like the album ID is empty in the query. Probably in the random image section.

Hope you can release a newer version soon with a fix.
